This wine has been crafted from pure Semillon and it’s the first of its kind from Brookwood . A proportion (60%) was aged in French oak puncheons for 7 months which produces a wine with elegant structure and enhanced complexity yet is harmoniously balanced with primary citrus fruit characters. It displays lifted aromas of kaffir lime and cut straw, with floral notes.
The palate is crisp and refreshing with cleansing acidity making it a perfect match for seafood.
60% matured in French puncheons for 7 months, curious no mention of fermentation, nor the age of the oak. However, the wine has good varietal lemon and herb flavours .
Fresh and delicate, bursting with flavours of gooseberry, white peach and nectarine with hints of cut straw. A crisp, dry aromatic white best enjoyed as a refreshing accompaniment to risotto, seafood and salads.
